Southwest Conference Against Trafficking 2018
Southwest Conference Against Trafficking 2018
Information, Awareness, Education, Prevention, and Action
Crittenton Services is proud to announce that we are honored to be co-hosting this year’s SWCAT 2018 alongside our partners, National Women’s Coalition Against Violence and Exploitation (NWCAVE) and the San Bernardino County Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation (CASE).
The upcoming conference will be held on January 11-13, 2018 at the Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference Center in Ontario, CA. Registration, speaker and workshop information is now available at www.swcat.org
Since 2009 the conference brings together advocates and the local community who want to help disrupt the cycle of exploitation.
Before anyone is trafficked, other issues may be a factor in the root cause as to why anyone can fall prey to a predator, a trafficker, an abuser, or exploiter. So, although the conference title reflects “trafficking” the conference weekend will also encompass the past, present and future of human trafficking as a societal concern, and what we can all do as active citizens to prevent and to find solutions to this human rights issue.
SWCAT 2018 is perfect for and we invite any professional from law enforcement, healthcare, social work, nonprofit, child welfare, juvenile justice, education, mental health, the media or the faith community to register for this training event. Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) are available for certain professionals. You can always connect with our partners from NWCAVE to find out who qualifies for CEU’s.
Early-bird registration is now open and will end on December 11, 2017. You can attend just 1 training day or all related conference days. Regular rate conference pricing starts on December 12 through January 5, 2018.
